What you'll do

This set works through the bonds module. You'll add up what a bond pays, price a bond after rates change and work out a yield, match Treasury bills, notes, and bonds to their maturities, sort ratings into investment grade and high yield, follow a TIPS through a year of inflation, decide which cash holdings are FDIC-insured, and use duration to estimate what a rate rise does to a bond fund. Each answer comes with the working, and your score appears as you go. Nothing is recorded outside this browser.

This draws on

Work through the problems in order and check each answer once you've committed to it. The score counts your first try. The bonds, funds, and numbers are hypothetical, and the last three problems use the optional lesson on duration.
