Start Here

If you're new to investing, read this page first. It explains how the curriculum is organized, which route fits your goals, and where to begin.

How the curriculum is organized

The core path has six parts. Each part is split into short modules, and each module into lessons you can finish in one sitting.

Lessons build on each other, so every lesson assumes only what came before it. Some lessons are marked optional: useful deep dives you can skip without losing the thread.

The six parts are called the core path. Beside it are depth tracks: optional extra courses on a single subject, from accounting and bonds to crypto, real estate, derivatives, and market history. You never need them to finish the core path.

Right now, 264 lessons are published, covering Start Here and Parts 1 to 6. The rest are being written in order.

    Choose a route

Both routes start in the same place. The difference is whether you plan to research individual companies.

You can switch routes at any time. Parts 3 and 4 stay open on the fund investor route.

    Your first two lessons

    1. How Hyperion Entities Works

How to use the curriculum, what the labels mean, and the difference between education and financial advice.

    2. Are You Ready to Invest?

What to have in place first: an emergency fund, a plan for high-interest debt, and money you won't need soon.

    Before you begin

Hyperion Entities teaches how investing works. The lessons don't tell you what to buy. Lessons use fictional companies such as STU Corp unless they say otherwise, and nothing here is personalized investment, tax, or legal advice.

Lessons about taxes and accounts are written for investors in the United States.
