Educational Disclaimer
Hyperion Entities teaches how investing works. It doesn't tell anyone what to do with their money.
General education only
Everything on Hyperion Entities, including lessons, capstones, interactive tools, the glossary, and emails, is general education for informational purposes. None of it is personalized investment, financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or other investment.
The lessons are the same for every reader. They don't take into account your goals, finances, tax situation, or tolerance for risk, so they can't tell you what's right for you.
What Hyperion Entities isn't
Hyperion Entities isn't a brokerage, a fund, a robo-advisor, an investment adviser, or a tax or legal practice. It doesn't manage money, hold accounts, or execute trades.
Examples and numbers
Companies used in examples, such as STU Corp and Larkfield Outdoor Co., are fictional unless a lesson says otherwise. Their figures, prices, and results are hypothetical, made up to teach a concept. Charts and calculators show the arithmetic of the assumptions you enter. They aren't forecasts, and real investments don't grow at a steady rate.
When a lesson cites real data, such as historical returns or interest rates, past results don't guarantee future results.
Risk
Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of the money you invest. Some topics, such as margin, options, leveraged funds, and crypto assets, carry risks that can exceed what you put in or lead to a total loss. Lessons on these topics explain how they work. They don't suggest using them.
Taxes, accounts, and rules
Lessons about taxes, account types, and regulation describe general rules for the United States. Rules and limits change, and how they apply depends on your circumstances. Lessons with time-sensitive information show when they were last reviewed. Check current rules with the original source, such as the IRS, and consider a qualified professional, such as a CPA, an attorney, or a fiduciary financial adviser, before acting on a decision that matters to you.
Accuracy
Lessons are checked against primary sources, with links in the notes at the end of each one. Mistakes can still happen, and information can go out of date. See the editorial standards for how lessons are sourced, reviewed, and corrected.
Trade journals
Trade journals are paused, and Hyperion Entities isn't publishing any. If they return, they'll report trades that contributors already made in their own accounts, with their reasoning. They'll be the same for every member and won't take your situation into account, and they won't be a recommendation that you make the same trades. Contributors can be wrong, and some of their trades will lose money. Contributors would be paid a flat fee by Hyperion Entities; see the rules they would follow.
The community
Messages in the Hyperion Entities Discord are the opinions of the members who post them, not of Hyperion Entities. See the community guidelines.
